Parents and guardians: Our school is implementing a district-wide transformational process called Leader in Me, which teaches 21st-century leadership and life skills to students and creates a culture of student empowerment based on the idea that every child can be a leader. Our school will be conducting surveys to learn more about key areas of strength and areas of needed growth in our school. The data from these surveys will also help us track the impacts of the Leader in Me process and implement key practices more fully. In order for us to have a holistic picture of what is going on in our school, we are asking parents/guardians of students in 4th grade and above to participate. Click here to access the survey. The Randolph County YMCA is partnering with Union Elementary to offer an after school program, held at Union, after school until 5:30 pm. Students participating in the program will receive a healthy snack, homework support, and curriculum focused on the four core values that the YMCA and Union share: caring, honesty, respect, and responsibility. The program is for students grades K-6. The cost is $30 per student per week. If you and your student(s) are interested, click here to fill out an interest form!
