Notice is hereby given that the Board of School Trustees of Union School Corporation will convene a Public Meeting on December 19, 2014 at 7:00 a.m., at Union School Corporation, 8707 W. US Highway 36, Room 104, Modoc, IN, 47358, for the purpose of discussing and hearing objections to and support for the proposed employment contract with its Superintendent of Schools. The details of the proposed contract include:

1. Length: a minimum extension of two (2) years to June 30, 2017, with a minimum number of working days per year at 170 days;

2. Base Salary of each year of contract shall be $ 65,000;

3. Additional forms of compensation/benefits for each year of contract consist of:

a. Corporation will pay premium (except for $ 1.00) on a $ 100,000 term life insurance policy. (Corporation Cost - $ 167/yr.)

b. Corporation will pay for dues in the IAPSS, IASBO, and other professional organizations  related to the job. (Corporation Cost - $ 580/yr.)

c. Corporation will pay IRS rate for business mileage. (Cost - $ 00.56/mile – current government rate).

4. In the event of the dissolution of Union School Corporation through reorganization, the board may elect to terminate the contract on the effective date of reorganization.
