Announcing Union School Corporation’s
Summer Library Program for 2016!
All Union students are invited to visit the Library to check out books and/or use the computers* and grades K – 5 may participate in stories and activities based on a weekly theme.
Community members may also check out books with ID showing a Union address.
Tuesday and Wednesday

Permission slips will need to be on file for all students participating during the summer if they will be dropped off and picked up.

Union High School will be hosting the annual Ethan Cheesman Memorial Blood Drive on Friday, May 6th from 8 am to 1 pm. If you would like to sign up or have questions, please contact Jamie Harshman at the school. Anyone 17 or older can donate. Students who are 16 must have parent consent. Please join us in helping others!

First Place in Interdisciplinary – Trisha Cline, Justin Lyons, Elliott Whiteside, Taylor Hayre, & Dathan Fisher.
Second Place in Social Studies (after a tie breaker for first) – Faithlan Ellis, Becca Glaser, MacKyndsea Burke & Trisha Cline.
Local organization one of 55 Hoosier groups awarded Bicentennial book sets
Union has been selected to receive the Next Indiana Bookshelf, a collection of 13 titles designed to spark conversation during the 2016 Indiana Bicentennial.
In a competitive application process Union was chosen to receive one of 55 sets awarded in 42 counties across the Hoosier state.
